When did you start blogging and how did you come to this idea?
I started blogging a few years ago – the idea came to me because I kept getting asked where I had purchased my outfits from or what makeup I buy. So I started writing about it for everyone to read 🙂
Who is your style icon? Why?
I love people like 4th and Bleeker's Alexandra Spencer, she mixes vintage with new and manages to choose pieces that are fashionable all year round. I also love off duty model style like Rosie Huntington Whiteley and Kendall Jenner, and of course Gigi Hadid!
How do you describe your personnel style? What is your inspiration?
My style changes all the time depending on how I feel but I like simple designs in beautiful materials like a silk cami. I also love contrasting light, feminine materials and shapes with something heavier like vintage Levis.
What is the essential pieces you must have in your closet?
How often do you post? How do you come up with post ideas?
I post about 2 – 3 times a week. I like to share where to purchase celebrity outfits, items that I have recently bought and love, affordable trends and fashion trends!
What would you describe the biggest challenge in fashion blogging?
It takes alot of work staying on top of a constantly changing industry. Not only do you have to stay on top of trends and be the first to share them, you also need to be tech savvy and stay on top of the technology you use to share your content with.
What is the greatest satisfaction of being a fashion blogger?
When people enjoy reading what you have to say and find it helpful!
A fashion rule you never break is?
That's a tough one, I would never have dark eyes and dark lips at once. I don't like too much makeup.
What do you splurge on?
From your point of view, what is the notable trend for the upcoming season?
Bomber Jackets this winter. They were around last year but I think we are moving towards embroidered jackets now. Like the traditional satin Japanese embroidered bombers.
Do you make money from your blog? Any advice for others?
Most of what I write about is because I enjoy the product or brand.
What has been your most successful blog post till now and what was it about?
I would say my Luxe to Less posts offering cheaper alternatives that look exactly the same as designer purchases.
How do you see your blog in 5 years?
Hopefully still interesting and helpful to people!
Designer – Realisation
Way to relax – Holiday somewhere tropical
